The Akari Experience
Akari™ means “light” in Japanese: a travertine globe on the wall, glowing softly like a lantern in a Japanese garden. It is simple, natural and deeply calming.
The travertine reveals its porous texture and creamy tones in the warm glow, while wood details add a natural balance. It brings the serenity of Japanese gardens to living rooms and bedrooms. The globe is shaped from natural travertine, so its pores and creamy tones are unique to each sconce. When lit, it glows softly like a stone lantern in a garden at dusk. Mounted beside a bed or in a living room, it brings a calm, contemplative atmosphere to the evening.
Install Akari™ beside a bed or in a living room. It brings the essence of light and the beauty of natural stone into your home.
